P.S.  I forgot to mention snow blowers(2), power washers (2), lawnmower, wheelbarrow, ladders, shop vac, chainsaws, weedeater, leaf blower. I think I have a serious problem. Is there a crap collectors anonymous?

Personally I have my mechanic do it, but everyone is different. Cars are about the only thing that I don't mess with. 

Look for some deadfall and cast around it...if minnows wont work use a micro tube jig on a slip float..drag it back to you a couple feet per lift and pause 30 seconds...crappiea are finicky and alot of times its all in the spot...also try early and into the evening with lighted floats...good luck

Was good to see so many friendly faces. I regret not having the time to stop and talk with many who came out. I was just swamped.

Looks like it's going to be a nice day tomorrow.. and only nice one for the next little bit, going to try for some crappie/perch and possibly some pike. Will let everyone know how I do tomorrow

I have enough tackle to last for 20 years .....good thing I bought that Mepp's for $2.99 (no tax) about 35 years ago . I have plenty of J-9's & J-13's plus many old Raps and Rebels .  Maybe I should have a sale and triple my money !   
I hope I can still by a can of corn for 87 cents .......    !

The Rez is nice and close to me.  $.20 cheaper. Pretty bad when you feel good about paying $1.50L

It was like that for a bit but now you still need an official test to get back, plus the return Can app bullshit. I used to be able to go for gas, groceries,  beer round trip in an hour. I called the place I always go for gas and it's around 3.50 a gallon. After conversion etc it works out to about 1.17 canadian a litre. Massive saving on my pickup truck and 3 Jerry cans . Plus 20$ 30 packs of beer 

Cant wait for the border to open. Much cheaper gas and beer. I'll be going over every week like I used to for years 

Got a real nice brown lower Niagara. Even with 20lb braid hard to tow against the current and land even after it tired. I think I will do this more often.

Well, given the abundant walleye population which continues to grow even with substantial commercial and angling pressure, you might see those limits go up.  There is talk on the US side about raising walleye limits.  That high population of walleye alone, can have a big impact on perch. 
 
I'm not saying it's recreational anglers having the biggest impact on perch.   But I bet you'll see recreational limits drop before any major changes to commercial fishing. 

If the fish population is being threatened by anglers , they could change the limits quickly by using the conservation limits for all fish .  

If the perch population is struggling so much why not put a ban on commercial fishing for a few years until it comes back up?  Other places have done it. I may be wrong but I don't think commercial fishing is allowed on US side of erie?

Well after watching several deer both mornings and evenings and not seeing any of the bigger bucks i had on camera i decided id put some meat in the freezer with the next buck i saw...this guy came in following a doe to my apple pile...made a 27 yrd shot with my compound bow..
