mooseslayer
Thanks I will. I saw them but was hoping something closer and no website or email, just phone number. Hopefully they can throw it in an envelope and send cheap if they have it..

Steve_Guelph
Kingsway tackle in Guelph will have one. Ask for Colin and I am sure he will ship it. No idea what he will charge but in my experience he has always been reasonable. 519 824-7223.
mooseslayer
Thanks ...texting with Kenny's now. I doesn't have one but can maybe make one but tough if he doesn't have the reel/spring and wiil cost me more to drive to Hamilton than its worth. I f this doesn't work I will try Kingsway. smerchly
We used to make our own (crude) spring for the Mitchell 300 . ...forget what type of wire we used . We twisted the wire around a tube (pencil) & made a couple of 90 bends and snipped off the excess wire . It worked but not great as we had to push the bail back to full stop by hand . Ah , those simple uncomplicated days ...... I had my Stradic 4000 bail replaced by John Gadzo ...done very quickly ....too bad he has passed......Maybe Grimsby tackle can give you a name ? Good luck .
