Dave Posted June 24 Report Share Posted June 24 I already have a Hobie PA14 which is way too big to take into small water...I've looked at a lot of smaller yaks and all the "cool" brands... I simply need something cheap, light, and stable.A throw and go as they call them...After watching many reviews I started to pay more attention to the Catch 110.. Its only a 50 pounder, its supposed to be stable enough to stand in, the transom mount can be switched from a skeg to motor mount...It looks like it has a roomy cockpit and it has a trick fold down seat that you can sit on for extra height.. Having served my time in a shipyard I can attest to the fact that speed and stability are pretty much mutually exclusive unless you get into multi-hull designs.
