smerchly Posted July 21 Report Share Posted July 21 I have made wine for many decades , from grapes , apples, blackberries ,peaches, strawberries and dandelions and I have a gallon and a half of strawberry/rhubarb brewing now. I don't use corks now , just special caps . The blackberry wine is 15% alcohol and it turned out verrrry nice after finding them in the freezer after 7+ years ! I have been cleaning out the basement and piecing some paneling for the past week , lots of stuff heading for the dump ! So , if anyone would like to have a demi john, about 6 gallons plus stopper and cork press and mini press free .....I'm in west St. Catharines .
